The “Sant Nicolau” primary school was built in Canyelles to give better infant and primary education.

Construcciones Perez Villora was in charge of constructing the new building. The windows and exterior aluminium closure elements were subcontracted to Fenster.

The Canyelles primary school is at Passeig Zona Esportiva s/n and it was officially opened in the 2007-2008 school year. Children aged between 3 and 12 are educated there. It consists of 20 classrooms, a library, a music room, a laboratory, a dining room and a kitchen. 32 teachers work there.
