Can Jorba is an old farmhouse belonging to Vilassar de Mar Town Council which has been renovated as a new municipal facility. The farmhouse covers 300m2, distributed over two floors in the form of different rooms and offices.

The Youth Service is located in Can Jorba and, at the end of 2012, the international mobility service for young people was set up there
 
Cristina Matallana Sola, aged 23, is the creator of the logo that visually identifies Can Jorba. She won the contest organised by the Youth Department in which there were 17 entries.

Can Jorba also houses the OMIC – Municipal Consumer Information Office – giving information and dealing with consumer complaints from the public.
